So I upgraded my phone about a month ago. I bought a new phone through Wirefly, and I assume that it is subsidized. They even say they'll zap you if you switch phones on that same line before 6 months is up. They also posted about 57 different warnings about losing the unlimited data feature if you buy a new phone and do a 2-year contract.
Here it is, 24 days later, and I still have unlimited data... as well as 4G! At least, that's what my account says when I login to My Verizon.
For those of you who re-upped to get a new phone, knowing that you'd lose unlimited data, exactly when did it happen? Was it instantaneous or did it go through in a subsequent billing cycle?
This matters because my wife needs a new phone, badly. I was going to do a Share Everything plan, but if I somehow still have unlimited data I don't want to touch my current plan.
