How get 4G Speed

Hi all,

According to the Sprint Map 4G is available in my area, but my EVO always shows 3G. What do I need to do to get to 4G?

Specs:
HTC EVO
Model PC36100
Android V 2.2.1
Baseband 2.15.00.11.19
Kernel 2.6.35.9-cyanogenmod shade@toxygene#1
Mod Version Cyanogenmod-6.1.2-Supersonic

As far as I know, Cyanogenmod doesn't support 4G yet. Basically, you can flash back to stock or another Sense-based ROM (roms based off of the official EVO 4G roms) to get 4G working.

I think the newest version of Cyanogen does 4g. Hopefully you haven't screwed up your WiMax keys when you rooted though. Go to Settings then Wireless and networks then turn on 4g and see what happens.
