Help how highly can the ace be recommended?

I'm looking to get an ACE as a stop gap until my contract is up for renewal. I love the look, I've had a play and it seems quick enough for my needs i.e SAT NAV, you tube and internet, but is it at all possible one way or another, to watch the BBC iplayer please? I'm very basic when it comes to getting all the terms, such as rooting, ROM and the like, but it does seem that a bog standard phone out of the box can be manipulated to do almost anything. Am I nearly right and please can any one give me the PRO's for the ACE against other machines? Thanks ever so much for any help and direction. Regards - Lee

This is one of the things that really annoys me about this phone,no you can't watch bbc iplayer because the ace does'nt have a compatable adobe flash player.
I've been on the phone to Samsung wingeing about it,and the tech guy tells me it's an hardware issue and untill Adobe create an arm6 flash player bbc iplayer vids will never play.
