Not sure if this will be of any use to anyone but here goes.
For few months now i had given up on getting Market working, i thought i had tried everything possible, from various forums, well yesterday i thought i would try yet again, uninstalled the Market that was not working first.
Anyway i downloaded "gapps-mdpi-tiny-20101020-signed" i put it on my sd card, tried to install but again got nowhere, thought i would try one more thing.
Went into sd card with Astro, found gapps-mdpi-tiny-20101020-signed, opened it up, went into system folder, then APP folder found the file for Market, it is called "Vending.apk" Not MARKET, i clicked on it up came the install, clicked on that, when finished came out of Astro, clicked on Market and low and behold up came Market with no problem.
So after so long it is now working again.
