How many of you use a screen protector

My tempered glass fell off sp easily and idk if the shops here offere a plastic one so do you think i could go with out tempered glass?

TBH, I put a screen protector on my Motorola DROID (OG - yeah, that phone from 2009). I hated it. It made using the phone sucky.

So, I took it off - and have never put another one on any of my phones since.

And I have all of them still with me, still working nearly perfectly.

Ohhh thats cool i agree its feels better without one but u got this s7 from my dad and there are some scratches already from him and some are deep should i still get one i just noicticed it when i the screen protector fell off

It would take some industrial type objects to significantly scratch that screen.

See this video for that screen:

The picks he uses in his videos are Mohs Hardness Picks. Here is a set of the same ones: https://geology.com/store/collections/hardness-kit.shtml

And here is an explanation of the Mohs mineral hardness scale: https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohs_scale_of_mineral_hardness

Caveat: sand grains in a pocket where you store the phone have been known to cause scratches on device screens. So have gemstone rings that make contact with screens in the pocket.

Also, you might take a look at this video, if no other, to see that you should research very carefully before investing in a screen protector:

i always used to screen protect my phones, but when i got the s7 i couldn't find a decent one for the phone, so didn't bother.
my phone is almost 2 years old now and the only marks on it are a small crack on a corner from dropping it and a tiny scratch up the screen from a car QI charging device, this device has the phone dropped into a slot and a small wheel pushes the phone back against the QI pad, i have had this charger almost aslong as the phone, and the scratch is hardly noticeable

As you know the problem with using a screen protector on the S7 is getting it to stayed attached to the curved screen. Instead of a screen protector I decided to use a case with a lip that prevents the screen from touching the surface when face down; that provides some protection if the phone is dropped.

Interesting. I've never had a curved screen until I got my Taimen. I have to admit it is a bit disconcerting that there is a 'channel' along the edges where dust and lint can (and invariably do) collect with regular use, but the case I am using, https://www.seidioonline.com/product/google-pixel-2-xl-surface/ (with a holiday $10 special on the belt-clip holster) is extremely solid and works extremely well in keeping the screen off surfaces.

On my N6, (not 6P), I use a case from Spigen with similar attributes.

In fact, every case for every phone I have owned starting with the OG DROID had the same feature - a raised bevel along the outer edge of the screen to prevent it making contact with surfaces when laid flat, face down.

The other thing I always do is to keep the phone in the same pocket of my jeans / pants, and nothing else goes in that pocket - ever. Of course, that is made a lot easier with the holster, which I've had for all phones but the N6, but I don't always use the holster.
