How much do live wallpapers hurt battery vs regular wallpaper?

Minimal if it's a stock live wallpaper IMHO, but that's on the SGN on VZW. You WILL notice it, but it's not like it's going to kill the battery asap.
If battery life is important to you, don't run a LWP. I don't run a LWP on the maxx, to me they are "gimmicky"... man I miss "phases" or whatever it was called, lol.

The only use battery when they are visible. I doubt it's gonna make that much of a difference unless you're sitting there with your screen on just sitting at the home screen for a long time.
I have had Nexus Revamped on my MAXX for a little over a week now and I have not noticed any decrease in battery life. Also, I checked in GSam Battery Monitor and stock battery monitor and it does not even show up in either as a contributor to battery drain.
