How: Reset contact to Handcent as default.

Once in a while I will make a mistake and set a contact to have the default messaging app as their SMS app. My finger simply slips generally.

When that happens I can't find ANY way to undo that to get them back to my chosen app--Handcent.

Does anyone know how you manage this for a specific contact (or all contacts at once)? I'd really prefer not to have to wipe ALL data as I have lots of custom settings beyond just the default app status.

The one thing that annoys me is that every single update of the OS re-starts the process.

For future posterity sake:

Go to Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, select the All tab, select Messaging.

Under the header "Launch by default" there's a button that's labeled "Clear defaults". Click that and you'll then be able to re-select the app you want as the default messaging app for all contacts.
