How Shocked am I going to be?

I still have and use a 1st generation droid. The HTC Eric. It is a piece of crap now and has been for several months. I can't even go on the net anymore because of its lag.

Anyways, how shocked am i going to be going from a 1st gen droid to the SG3..which is like, what a 6th gen droid? lol

I am a verizon guy and a long while back I was impatiently holding out for the droid bionic. It kept getting delayed and I kept getting more impatient. Then all of a sudden I was over it and heard about the Nexus. The same story happened with that and now its all about the s3. But I can guarantee you that I am getting the phone this time. My eris doesnt have much life ahead of itself.

So Im leaning towards the white sg3 but still 50/50 between the 16gb and 32gb. I do plan on getting a micro sd. Either 32 or 64. My plan is to put all my music on the sd card and just use the internal memory for the apps and just for my phone to run smoothly.

You know how you felt when you went from a landline to a cellphone, or cellphone to a smartphone? It'll be like that.

Haha I was thinking a good comparison would be if I were to be use A-track tapes all the way up til the ipods were introduced and getting one of them lol

The G3 is likely to most advanced cell phone on the market and if it does not impress you . . . . .

I go back and forth between my S2 and the iPhone 4S and the S3 was very nice! Not crazy about the Pebble Blue as I am a black phone person but the WOW factor is very high!

I was AMAZED when I went from the Eris to my Droid X two years ago. My only advice to you is make sure you have a clean pair of underwear with you during the unboxing.

You'll feel like you died and went to Heaven which happens to be in the Playboy Mansion :D except you'll be able to do more than Hugh Hefner.

The Eris was my first android too. Then it died. They sent several refurbs, which all sucked, so I upgraded to the Inc. (One of those refurbs us still alive and kicking, very slowly, as a wi-fi device for my daughter) I was astounded that a phone could be so fast! The Eris was sooo slow and unresponsive in comparison. Then the Inc got gingerbroke, and VZW replaced it with an Inc2. Looking forward to a step up with the GSIII! I think you'll be floored by your new phone!

I know you're all having fun with the analogies here, but let's remember to keep it within bounds here. I deleted a couple posts that crossed the line a little bit, so let's try to restrain ourselves here. ;)

It's okay to have some fun (and be helpful to the OP :)), but let's try to steer away from stuff that others may find distasteful ;).
