How to access tablet?

My little bro just came home from prison and he brought with him a JP5 mini tablet. We've been trying to get it to work, but the software seems to have restrictions. How can we fix it?

Without telling us what the restrictions are I can't see how anyone can answer that.

Given that this tablet was designed and intended for use in prisons, it's very securely locked down and restricted, like you can't install your own apps. There's a thread about the JP5 here...

Apparently you can get it officially unlocked and unrestricted upon release from jail...
