How to acquire app apk

i recently installed android on my Hp touchpad and have run into an issue with certain apps not showing up in the market. the workaround seems to be backing up the app on a rooted phone and then manually installing the apk on the touchpad.

The issue is for me i havent decided if i want to root my Droid 3. Is there another way to get the apk or do i need to just go ahead and root it?

Any help would be appreciated

thank you

If someone has an app installed and makes a backup with either AppSaver or BackupEverything (I forgot which, sorry) the backup process (re)creates an .apk file of it on their SD card.
I would search for that .apk file, copy it to my phone's SD card and see if it wants to install.

this is for getting help from the experts that how can i copy adobe flash player. apk directly into my galaxy aces' root dir

ectory of sd card?

Use File Expert or WiFi File Explorer to find the .apk file (after backup) on someone else's phone/SD card, and Bluetooth or a USB cable to copy it to your phone's SD card. Top directory is fine.

Thank you very much, that did it.
