How to add applications on my galaxy y?

Hello and welcome to Android Forums. You should have an app in your app drawer called market. If you open that app you will be taken to the Android Market where you will find free as well as pay for apps. You then just click on the app you want and it will download and install into your phone. I hope this helps.
