How to adjust Discovery Interval of bluetooth module in Android?

Hi All,

I am trying to implement bluetooth functionality using android.

I just want to enquire nearby bluetooth devices using android and record their addresses.
The default inquiry interval is 12 seconds.

Is there any function like (setInterval()) to reduce it to low value?
