Help How to backup phone with Kies?

My Grand 2 phone isnt recognized by Kies when I connect to the Windos 10 host. I am not able to get the MTP option in storage or by pulling down the status bar,
When connected by the Micro USB cable to the laptop, the phone shows as charging.
