How to carry your smartphone - Picky users

Hi,

How to carry your smartphone if you are a picky user?

1) In pockets
- Best solution but the screen gets dirty while touches the fabric inside the pocket. And if it's a hot day and you sweat it's horrible.

2) Belt case
- Horrible plus attract criminals.

3) Glove cases, Wallet cases then in pocket
- Takes too long to answer a call.

4) Hardcases then in pocket
- Hardcases only protect sides not the screen. The screen will still touch the pockets and gets dirty.

Does anyone have a solution?

Needs to be a case that you don't need to take the phone out to answer, just like a hardcase but also with screen protection.

I'm almost sewing micro fiber fabric in all pockets of all my pants!

You really have no other choices except to carry it in a totally enclosed case and place in a bag or something. There are going to be positives and negatives with what ever way you chose to carry it. Pick what works best for you. I have a belt holster and my phone is in a Outterbox Commuter case with a Zagg Invisible Shield on the screen. This works best for me, since I carry my wallet and keys in my front pockets. Also, I use my phone a lot and have quick and easy access to it. Also, don't have to worry about having to lay it down in front of me to see if I messed a notification in a public place or making sure to be able to sit down comfortably, without it sticking me in the leg. (Like most people do that carry it in their pocket or bag.) I can feel my phone vibrate in the case and never have to lay my phone down. Plus, when I listen to my music and exercise, I don't need a different case and I don't need to have a belt on either. As fare as attracting criminals, I disagree with this. No criminal knows what type of phone is in the case unless you show them. Plus if you have a heavy duty case, It can't be removed by just snatching it off. You have to unclip it, to remove it. I have never lost or misplaced my phone while using a belt holster case.

I'm a pocket guy. I do nursing and home health, so I shouldn't be doing anything rough enough to damage my phone or I would have a really hurt patient. I've never understood the belt things or the hard and soft cases. These phones are designed to by used straight up. And I have fairly large hands, so I don't need a soft case for grip either. Looks like i'm gonna crush my phone when I hold it now anyways

I carry mine around in my shirt and/or pants pocket. I do have a soft cover, to protect the back from getting scratched. That's about it.

I got a TPU type case and carry my Galaxy Player 5 in my shirt pocket. I'd prefer carrying it naked (really love the smooth design), but with my clumsy hands, I'm afraid I'd drop it, or that it might slide out of my pocket...thus the case.

I tried a screen protector, but took it off. It was just too "grippy"...not smooth enough.

I just use a belt/hip case. I prefer it there, but since I got my SGS2 I havent had a chance to get a hip case for mine. Its been in my pocket temporarily

I just got the Platinum Case/Holster combo. Purchased it from Best Buy. So far, it seems it will fill my needs very well.
