Root How to change a folder back to .apk

How the heck do I make the apk file work on my phone? lol. I (think) i signed the framework-res.apk file and pushed it over.... assumed that's all I had to do. What am I missing?

Yeah i want to know how to repakage apk file too,i think its a .tar file renamed to .apk but not sure

Turns out you don't need to, just open it with 7-zip and replace the files while the apk is open in 7-zip
