How to change ADW bottom dock?

I have tried both LauncherPro and ADW, and I tend to like ADW better. My biggest problem is that on the dock, I only have 3 items, one of which is the menu button in the middle. I see on the dev's site that he has 5 or so icons on the bottom and they are in full color. The one on mine is essentially translucent and in 2 colors. How do I get it to be full color? I have looked through the menus over and over and cant find anything. I have searched the forums (though maybe not well enough) and can't find an answer.

If you want to see the second dock bar just hold down the app launcher button and swipe up. You'll be able to add up to 5 other applications there.

With adw you can have 4 icons, 2 on the left side of menu button and 2 on the right side + 5 in the dock

Thanks for the replies. I did the long press then dragged up and I have the full color icons at the bottom, but now I have no way of accessing the menu. I am sure this is something simple, so I am embarassed to even be asking this stuff haha.

You need to press on the top of the dock (icon) and slide down

So I cannot have both the full color row of icons AND the menu button at the same time?

Thanks for your help BTW.

Just figured it out. Under ADWSettings, click UI settings, then click Secondary ActionButtons. BAM!

Good find I was just looking into this. Also for anyone reading, just make sure to turn off the Desktop dots check mark as you will not be able to change the Secondary ActionButtons if it is selected.

What I want to know, is how does one fade the dock into translucence?

or just have it disappear, leaving the buttons you had dragged into it (we are talking about the bar at the bottom that has the thing in the middle that you tap)

I can't find it in the settings. What I do find is a color picker for the background of the screen that pops up with all your applications, which clearly is not "The Dock".

Eh?

ADW Settings>UI Settings>Hide AB Bg, Hide AllApps Bg

I think that's what you're asking about?
