How to change and or upgrade Samsung SM-G900A Firmware?

Hi, I purchased this S5 from trademe, but it has ATT firmware/software, what would be the best thing to do to change it? Or should it just be left?

AT&T Samsung phones have locked bootloader's and are very difficult to root or modify. Depending on the current Android version you have installed, you might be able to update up to 6.0 but it will still be AT&T firmware.

AT&T doesn't like to release it's firmware and you need a active AT&T Sim to receive OTA updates.
Have a look at this thread at XDA. It has AT&T firmware that will let you upgrade to 6.0

Yeah I downloaded the right 1 from that xda thread and extracted the folder but then I got stuck because I extracted from the next folder and there were these 4 strange files that when I clicked on them I wasn't sure what to do, so I researched a little just briefly and it was mentioning stuff about rooting the phone and some things about odin etc, I got stuck so I just left it lol

What they have in the link is the 4 part service files. You would need to put each part in it's individual slot in Odin to flash.
These should be pure stock.
