Help How to change buttons on lock screen?

When my phone is locked and needs the password, the lock screen has buttons there. I used to know where to change these, for the life of me I cannot find the settings to change these.

Right now it's "unlock" on the left, and the default camera on the right. I want to change the button on the right to active the Vignette program instead of the stock camera program.

Anyone know where I can change the lock screen buttons?

Hi Sharon,

You cannot change the default lock screen, unfortunately. What you can do, and what I have done, is install the free app called "GO Locker". It is a program which replaces your lock screen with a customizable one, where you can change the theme, button placement, wallpaper, and a variety of other settings. With this program, you can achieve the same result you are looking for by replacing the stock camera button with something else. It is pretty easy to navigate, and best of all, free.

There are other lock screen apps on the market, but I have found GO Locker to be the best, IMO. Let me know how this works for you, and if you have any more questions. Good luck!

II know this brief thread is more than a year old, but I wanted to thank you for pointing me in the direction of GO Locker. The lock screen feature (I use a PIN) of my Verizon Motorola Droid Razr quit working about three months ago, I believe after an update of one of my programs through Google Play. Although I attempted a systematic uninstall and reinstall of my Apps using a very methodical process, the native Android screen lock still would not operate. I installed 3 different Apps in an attempt to install a screen lock that would work on my phone - I even purchased one app that appeared from its description and reviews that it would solve my screen lock issue. None of these Apps were effective. As soon as I read your post, I went directly to Play and installed GO Locker. I once again have the ability to lock the screen on my phone, using a much nicer interface that I can change if I so choose.

So, once again, thank you.

Philip
