How to Change Default Voicemail To Audio

When I get an email notification icon on my Galaxy J2, selecting it says its video voicemail which I don't want. How do I change that to audio voicemail? Phone > Settings > Voicemail does NOT have a video voicemail setting to turn off. The only thing in >Voicemail Settings is the cell phone number.

i barely use voicemail myself, so take that in mind with whatever i think up here

have you called your voicemail and gone through all of the settings there?

also, during one or more of my bloatware/google purges, i seem to remember an app or apps related to video voicemail.

perhaps you could use the Shizuku & Canta method to eliminate the app(s) altogether and leave your device no choice but to do your bidding
