how to change F to C on android auto weather widget?

On the main screen of android auto the temperature is shown in F. I want it in C but cannot for the life of me work out how!

In the settings for the Android Auto app on my phone there is nothing to do with temperature units. Am I looking in the wrong place?

In the AA app, click the microphone icon and tell Google assistant to " change temperature to Celsius" enjoy..

I would like to change mine from F to C ,, and while there "should be" an option in the settings menu ,, there isn't one (version 2.7.573954) ,, any assistance would be appreciated.

Sounds like this particular weather app/widget is intended for United States only. There's other weather apps that do C or F.

After using the voice command "change weather temperature to Celsius" and getting a positive voice response. I also had to reboot my phone and restart the car. Bingo! it worked!

So telling it with my voice didn't appear to help (it just kept giving me results from google related to the question, likje stuff to do with farming!), however today I noticed that it IS in C now! So maybe thanks?!

On your phone, in the Andriod Auto app, select the hamburger menu (3 horizontal bars menu) in top left ... Settings ... "Google Assistance" under the General topic ... Preferences ... Weather ... Celsius (or Fahrenheit). FINISHED!

This is Android Auto app v.3.2.581534-release (bottom of the settings window).

This works, but you need to disable/enable the weather after this change.
