So, I recently upgraded from my Samsung Galaxy S5 to an S8 and i love the phone, however i have a little peeve with it. On my S5, when i would receive a message on whatsapp, i would get a single vibration followed by an LED indicator that would stay there until i looked at the message. However now, with the S8, for my messages I am getting two short vibrations (similar tot he heartbeat option in the vibration settings) and the LED appears to only come on when the screen is locked and sometimes when it is open and i am in a different app ( the S5 had the LED all the time). Ideally i would like to change my settings to reflect that of my old S5 however after fiddling with both the whatsapp settings for vibration notification and the Samsung settings, i have seen no change in the vibration pattern on whatsapp. Any help would be greatly appreciated if this is something that can be changed.
