Help How to clean the earpiece ?

I am wondering how to really clean the, small pill shape wide space for the ear, as well
as the volume up and down on the case itself..... hmmm... anyone know? On moto z2 force.

I take a VERY soft toothbrush, turn the phone over (so the earpiece is facing the floor) and GENTLY brush the crap out.
