So I am creating a wallpaper application as my first project because I feel like that is interesting and would get me on my feet, So at the moment, I've added a splash screen, and I've also added the SearchView tool.
The application should work like this: You go on it, you search for something you like in the SearchVew i.e "Cats" It connects to the internet (or a remote API of some sort) and then displays a bunch of pictures of cats in a GridView

How do I access the internet through the searchView (Or any other option, not sure its the SearchView I need to use)
If you could provide me with links that would be GREAT! Since I couldnt find anything in about 2 hours of searching the web.
