How to count the number of installed apps?

Usta

Does anyone know an app that simply tells you how many apps you have installed in your phone?

I have AppBrain installed and when I access the AppBrain website on PC it informs me of...

Number of installed app's

Number of free app's

Number of paid app's

Total paid for app's

Percentage of app's paid for

Total space taken by app's

Hope this helps. :D

Thank you both for the suggestions.
Appbrain method is cool, but pity that those stats are only on browser website.
Listables is also interesting, but I get two modes: with or without system apps.

Now I have a bunch of different stats which don't match with each other...

Listables (without system apps) - 55 aps
Appbrain - 63 apps
Menu apps icons counting - 92 apps
Listables (including system apps) - 133

So, how many apps I've got in my phone? :D

Titanium backup will also show you.
Titanium backup in batch mode says:
User apps - 55
User apps and System data - 135

At least there is a consistency about the number of non-system apps: 55.
Still, some of the apps installed may have system flag, and they also should be counted (partially included in AppBrain count).

I was going to say Listables too. That program is great!

Yeah. I was using App Dragon until I saw this thread and installed Listables. With Listables, having not only the app name but links to it (Android Market / App Brain / Androidlib /etc) is very helpful!

Listables is a nice app, but it still doesn't provide a good answer. It will either exclude all apps that are "system" tagged, or will include all kind of useless things like "Packages Access Helper" or "Media Storage"...

Would be nice to have a app that counts the number of icons on the Menu list. At least you know you can press those icons and start an application.
