Help How to create google navigation shortcut?

doubleUTF

Lurker
I want to place a shortcut on my homescreen that will directly open up Google Navigation to that address. On my old phone, I just had to longpress the screen and it would bring up an option to place a direction shortcut. I can't do that on the SG3, and inside Maps and Navigation I haven't been able to find any option to do that. Am I missing something really obvious? I'm pretty frustrated that I haven't been able to find the solution to something so simple.

It's pretty much the same.....long press the screen....."add to homescreen"....apps.....then go to widgets and look for the google maps..."Directions and Navigation" widget. Hold and drag to homescreen.

^This if you're still using TouchWiz. With Go Launcher, it's the same process the OP described using before.
