How to Delete Android Setting Icon

Hi, I have a "loaner", model VIVO v3m, I am handing it back to its owner (I bought one in the meantime) and I have to clear all my apps, some of which are not allowed in China, including Google.

But for some reasons I cannot delete the Google Setting icon, the one with the grey cog-wheel.

How do I delete it? It's not allowed in China (yet).

Press the "Lock" icon simply log me off and black out the screen. I have to power up the VIVO again.

I thought at first you were asking how to remove the icon from the desktop, but actually I think you might be asking how to remove the app completely.

If so, I can think of 2 solutions:

1) If you really need to clear off everything you've put on it, a factory reset will do that

2) If there's a reason you don't want to do a reset (like it still has some of the owners's stuff on it) then go into Settings > Security and see whether the Google app is set as a "Device Administrator". You can't uninstall administrator apps, so if it is then deselect it as an administrator and then uninstall it.
