How to delete default files (songs, pics...)

How do you delete default songs, pictures in the gallery etc...?
I saw delete option, and systems says to confirm it I do that and then nothing happens they are all still there.

That's weird, when I deleted them, they disappeared. After you long press it, did you go to the upper right top and hit the thrash button?
