Help How to delete photo attachments on Gmail

Jroxxy

Lurker
As I was preparing to send an important message I came across a paper clip in which I thought I was able to attach my document. I was using my phone, Galaxy S7, and using my gmail email with the new Yahoo email where all emails can be combined into one. Well I though I had deleted all photos I never wanted to see again, and all these pics came up. How the heck do I delete them???? I tried Goggle+, hangouts, and Picasso and for the life of me I cannot find where the heck these pics link up to. Please help!

Hey there

Welcome to our forum.

Its showing you the same in recent attachments , so you earlier sent those pics using the email app?

They the photos which are saved in your email account as you sent them-- attachment .

You gotta delete them if you wanna get rid of it :

I have no idea how to follow this threat. Sorry but this did not help.

It's not showing me the same in recent attachments. Actually, I've never emailed these pics they are from text messages and/hangouts. I don't know how to delete. I'm afraid I'll have to close this email completely.

Hey Bros

I did some research right now with that email app ( Created a yahoo account too : and then sent some mails with attachments ) figured out that this app has nothing to do with other apps from which you have sent those images , you must recheck once in your every email right in that App if you have ever sent them.

It only showed those attachments that i sent using it .

Maybe your just missing some emails in which you may have sent it .

If still you think that's wrong way with , i recommend you contacting yahoo for that .

Thanks , that's all i can help with .

Thank you for trying to help me figure this out. I'm at a loss. Easiest way is to be this email and start new one. If anyone find a way to delete these embedded pictures (saved years ago) please let me know. Thank you.

Hi Bro,

In order to delete attachments you have to delete the emails that have attachments. In order to do that, click on the drop down menu on the search bar in Gmail. You would find different options From, To, Subjects to name a few. At the bottom, you would find has attachment option. Just tick on that, and it will show the list of all the emails that have attachments. Now simply select all the emails at once by ticking the box located at the left corner near the inbox and it will delete all the email that have attachments.
