How to disable haptic feedback?

I can't figure out how to completely disable the haptic feedback on my Note 4. I go into Settings->Sound, and at the very bottom is "Haptic feedback". This box is checked, and it's grayed out so I can't uncheck it. How do I uncheck this box? Is it possible at all?

Yes, you should be able to uncheck it at that place in settings. Have you tried rebooting the phone to make sure it isn't hung up on some process?

Yup, tried restarting and everything. It's just that one checkbox that's disabled. Everything else on that screen, and all other settings that I've tried, seem to work fine.

I guess I'll live with it for now. The Note 4 is brand new out of the box, so I can't imagine a factory reset will do anything at this point other than make me have to re-install apps and restore data again. Thanks for the suggestions, though.

If you have Power Saving on I think that may disable the ability to control Haptic Feedback.
Good Luck!
Ron

Ahh, that was it! Thank you! I turned off power saving temporarily and was able to disable Haptic Feedback. Then I turned power saving back on.
