Hello,

Forgive my ignorance but as an apple user myself, I'm really struggling to come to terms with this android tablet. It's actually my nephews, and he go it for his birthday a few weeks ago.

Since then his mother has tried but failed to download Minecraft for him. And I've also attempted to download Plants Vs Zombies 2.

On the IPad, it's straight forward. On android... anything but.

When going to the 'Play store', if you search for the Plants Vs Zombies 2 app, it comes up with loads of completely random apps, and other things clamining to be PVZ2, but aren't! Ridiculous.

As for Minecraft, my sister attempted to download that a few weeks ago, and hasn't managed to install it. The only trace of it I can find are minecraft.exe and minecraft.dmg files. I've searched Google and can't find any specific answers! Why the Hell is this so complicated?!

I'd appreciate some advice thanks :-)

exe files are for Windows computers. dmg files are for Mac computers.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popcap.pvz_na should be PVZ2. (It's 99 cents.)

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mojang.minecraftpe is Minecraft Pocket Edition for Android. (It's $6.99 - don't blame me, Android or Google - that's how much the author wants.)

Oh - when they download from those links they'll install by themselves. Don't use a computer to download them. Go to the links with the tablet and download them from there. (There's a Play store app, but there are so many apps for each game - cheats, guides, etc. - that it will probably be easier to just go right to the two games, using the links I found.)

Welcome to AF, another reason apps won't show up is because the app developer has not put any support for your device.
