How to edit wearable quick replies on android messages

In Verizon Messages, I'm able to edit wearable quick replies but on android messages I don't see an option to. In Verizon messages, I'm not able to type a reply with a keyboard on my android wear device but on android messages I am able to. It's there any way that I can edit wearable quick replies on android wear so I can have relevant quick replies on my android wear?

But why isn't there an option in the android messages app to customize quick replies?
