Help How to figure out if I am streaming?

My wife and I moved to a plan that has only 30 minutes streaming each month. She has already got a notification saying she is over the limit. She said the text happened when Pandora was up.

I have been using Pandora since we switched 2 weeks ago and have it running sometimes up to an hour a day.

She also said she got a warning text when playing Words with Friends.

The plan specifically said Pandora didn't stream and I've never seen a stream ad in Pandora.

Is there a way to figure this out? I don't want this huge bill at the end of the month for something that shouldn't be charged to us. Because Cspire (when I asked) could not help tell me what it is that is actually streaming. So I would then be inclined to say, well then where is the proof that what you are seeing is actually streaming?

When ever you're doing something that requires 3G, 4G, LTE...with the exception of WIFI, you're using data. I don't know about keeping track of the actual time. Look into the app My Data Manager.

No, we have unlimited data. We have 30 minutes of streaming only. It's 2 separate things apparently.

Pandora is data, but is not streaming. Youtube is streaming. A chat program is streaming as well apparently. Pop ups could be streaming for an app, i guess if it is moving and not a picture. It would seem odd that an app would force you to view streaming ads and you can do nothing about it.

I see that for the web on a phone, you could try to get an ad blocker, but those don't work for apps. Hell, thats the whole reason we have the phone is for apps.
