When I'm looking for an app in google play, it gives me many options but very limited ability to filter these apps by my criteria. Is there a way to limit / sort the apps that does what I need?

- I want only apps that were updated in the last X months (and ignore apps that were neglected by their creators and are not under development any more)/
- I want to sort apps by popularity so I'll see what's the crowd wisdom thinks and which app will probably have supporting community.
