Help How to find which app is sounding alert

After some updates my DROID4 is sounding the main alert very frequently. I had previously been hearing that alert only from Calendar Event Notify. How do I determine which app(s) is/are signalling the alert? When I find out, I want to change the tone they use or turn off the alter sound.

If you are also getting a visible notification, drag down the Notification bar and long-press the notification. That will take you to the app's Settings page. From there, you can either disable all notifications for that app or go into the app itself and see if it has a configuration option to change the alert tone.
