Help [How To] Fix App Drawer Market button with Google Play.

Many people have noticed that the market button in the app drawer is broken when you "upgrade" to play. Heres how you fix this easily.

1. Go into the app drawer, hit menu and choose manage apps, in the downloaded column, find the google play store and choose uninstall updates, it should say uninstall unsuccessful. (now you have no market and google play doesn't work, but don't freak out like i did.)

2. Reboot

3. Your link should now be back to the market, enter through the app drawer button. Accept the terms (notice it is google play terms even though your in the market.).

4. Go back to manage apps, find market (not in the downloaded section) and clear data.

5. Reboot Again.

6. Play around in the market, force close it a couple times, or look at apps until it tells you its upgrading to play again, hit continue and now your back at square one, yet your market button works!

Yes, tried this regimen and indeed it worked.. actually after doing a clear data on Market Updater listed in ALL and then rebooting, I just clicked on the little shopping bag in rt. top corner of Apps and I was asked to accept Google Play. After doing this shopping bag icon is working. Thanks Jack Coleman!

Yea. The fix was pretty simple. Google already sent a fix for it too so either way, it should be fixed now for Moto phones with the Market icon in the app drawer in the top right corner.

Its funny how some folks at some sites made such a big deal out of it. I think its just the in thing to hate on Moto...about as much as its the in thing to hate on Apple.
