Help how to get a flashed phone back to 4g?

I have a Samsung Galaxy s5 and I did the update because I thought that it would put it back to 4g because page plus accepts 4g phones now. Now my phone is different and the messaging app won't work. Help?

Can you explain what you mean a bit more. What do you mean "put it back to 4g"? Why was it no longer "4g" in the first place?

If you give us the history of the device we'll be able to find the right answer more quickly.

I use page plus cellular and I bought the phone new from a phone that flashed it. before page plus only accepted phones that were in 3g so it got flashed to 3g. Now the company accepts phones that are in 4g. I did an update on the phone but now the messaging app doesn't work.
