Help How to get any widget to work on lock screen

I just switched from an iPhone and want to have a similar lock screen where I can view weather, appointments, etc. Is there any way to do this on a Galaxy S7?

I'm sure there is something that can utilize but not sure if there is something on the S7 specifically to set that.

I'm also pretty sure there are other apps that can do what you desire, but I first thought there may be something on the S7 you can enable

Thanks for pitching in but this is a lock screen replacement. I can only work with the Android lock screen. My IT department will not permit me to disable it.
