How to get app uninstall history

Alamshar

Lurker
Hi

I installed and uninstalled an app a few weeks ago and I need to be able to prove that I uninstalled it. I want to see if there is some way that I can pull a log history from Android that shows all my install and uninstall history. The play store does not provide this - in fact I cannot even see the app that I installed there.
Thanks

Hello, Alamshar, and welcome to Android Forums. :)

I have a couple of suggestions for your issue.

I installed and uninstalled an app a few weeks ago and I need to be able to prove that I uninstalled it. I want to see if there is some way that I can pull a log history from Android that shows all my install and uninstall history.

I don't know of a way to do exactly that, but if you go to your phone's Settings and then Apps, and let it load completely, you can check to see if the app is listed there. If it is, it's still installed. (Note that Settings | Apps is how it's worded on my phone; yours may vary, but look for something similar under Settings.)

The play store does not provide this - in fact I cannot even see the app that I installed there.
When you're logged in, go to My Orders in the Play store. You should see everything you've ever installed listed there. Note that I said SHOULD! I've personally seen things missing from mine, so it's not perfect.
