How to get native email app to push

Hi guys

I am using the native email app on android .. the one that says email not gmail . since they are two of them :S

anyways i wanted to know how to make that app push email to my phone like the hotmail+seven does.

I do use hotmail for email

I know with the gmail app' you set it to sync to your Google account and the mail is pushed to the phone instantly.

With the other mail app' you have to set your phone to check the mail server at set intervals.
