Help How to get # of vmail as an icon on VM app?

Is there a way to get a the # of unheard vmails listed as a # on my VM App icon?
Curretnly using t mobile visual voicemail
I receive the pop up notifications but really looking for the small numerical icon that would reside on the VVM app icon, telling me 1, 2, or 24 vmails similar to my iphone ability.

FYI it's called Badge Notifications. AFAIK which apps can support. Of course I don't know the VVM app you're using and I've never used any VVM, but maybe there's an option in the app's settings for it?
