Help How to Get Old Text Message

[Android Question]

Have a back and forth with someone buying something from me I have posted on CL. When I close out of the conversation, I can't find my way back into it. When I hit the "messaging" icon in the apps, I get taken to a screen that wants me to start a new text message. Can't navigate to the old conversation. Ideas?

Hit the back button and see if that returns you to the conversation list? What SMS app are you using?

I use the LG Volt. I drop down from the top of the screen where notifications are listed and tap the messaging icon in the QSlide.

Thanks. I actually went into my apps and found the messaging program app and hit it. Took me to a list of my conversations. Looks like whoever setup the shortcut for messaging with the QSlide linked it to creating a text message. The actual app icon for it takes it to a list of conversations.
