How to get out of fastboot mode

Can some one kindly assist me with what to do to get out of fastboot mode.
I have tried the
LGUnitedMobileDriver_S497CA20_WHQL_Ver_1.0
But it seems like my phone is in charge only mode hence it cannot be detected by the PC under portable devices. is there anything I can do?
Please help!!!!

It doesn't reboot, or it boots back into fastboot mode? That's a very important difference. Please give as much detail as you can about the problem and how it got into this state.

It doesn't reboot. I wanted to to do a factory reset, I Booted my phone using the power+volume down button then I started scrolling down but b4 I could reach the reset feature, I accidentally pressed the power (select) button and fastboot mode appeard on the screen. It's about 15 hrs ago.

OK, I don't know this phone so don't know what other options you have in fastboot mode (the phones I've used that mode with have options to change to other modes, from where you can reboot using a menu command, but I assume that isn't the case with this one). Holding the power button not working is a bit disturbing, because that really ought to work in fastboot mode.

If the phone is in fastboot mode then the obvious solution is to install the fastboot program on your computer and use that to reboot it (command "fastboot reboot" will do it). Instructions for installing fastboot can be found in a quick web search, or you can look in our FAQ thread on it. I don't know whether special fastboot drivers are needed for this phone, as I don't use Windows so never have to deal with that stuff (Linux and MacOS are much less fuss in that regard).

Thanks Hadron, the most disturbing part is that when I connect the phone to the pc, it's detected in charge only mode, hence I can't find it in connected devices on my PC.

If it's in fastboot mode then the drivers you'd use when it's running Android won't work - it's not an MTP device or anything like that. Hopefully a generic fastboot driver will work, or you'll be able to find one for your manufacturer.
