Hello all —
I'm an Apple guy. I know much about Apple products, but almost nothing about Android. I am working on getting my iOS app over to the Android platform, so I bought an HTC Desire 510 (which is on Boost Mobile, but I don't plan on using any cellular features, just wi-fi) to do some development testing.
My question is this — is there any way I can remove all the cruft HTC/Boost Mobile software? I would like to have pure android, if possible. Right now it runs KitKat 4.4.2, but I would like to upgrade it to the newest OS as well.
I know this isn't as simple as it is with iOS, meaning I can't just update the OS to the newest version. I know there are limitations on different devices and carriers.
Could anyone help me? Thanks!
