how to hard reset zte-t u960

how to hard reset zte-t u960
?
i couldnt enter to recovery
i tried everything vol up down ..............
i will be grateful for any help

All the instructions i see say to do the following:

Turn the phone OFF.
Press and hold the power and Volume UP button until the screen displays the android robot on his back.
Tap the power button to enter recovery.


From there you use the volume keys to navigate the menu and the power button to select.
