help me.. i was installing ics theme, the process failed and the phone got erased. i tried factory rest but gives me this error" failed to mount dbdata" ithink the os got erased....please help....thanxx

Um, ouch! Try to re-flash it with the previous firmware? See if you can mount the USB and inspect it via windows. See if the file structure is still intact?

sorry if am asking too much ...am afraid to cause more damages ,but how will i do that. i tried to re load 2.3.6 firmware update but nothing changing. the phone is just showing the animated logo again and again till i remove batt.

You need to use odin and reflash the phone.
Make sure you use pit 512 and you have a complete firmware.
If it only one file the dbdata file can be missed and you will then get an error when you start the phone.

Your main problem is that the ice theme you did install did not work and that would break some of your system files.
