How to install paid apps after a device wipe

I had to do a factory reset of my X after the 2.2 update. I am now not able to install the paid apps I got from the market. I have receipts on Google Checkout for them, but when I go to the market to get them, it only gives me the option to "Buy" it again as it takes me right to Google checkout. If I go to "Options" and then "My Downloads", the apps are not located there. Anyone else have this happen to them? How do I fix this without having to buy the apps again?
Thanks,
Chad

If you have signed in with the same email address that was used in the original purchases then you could simply run Market and in the top of the window you see apps, games, Downloads. Click on downloads and let it populate. here will be the list of all apps purchased and you can also install from there.

That's very strange. I just switched phones and my paid apps were in my downloads section waiting for me to reinstall them for free.

You're absolutely positive you used the same email address?

Maybe try doing ANOTHER factory wipe?

If that doesn't work, maybe try contacting Google? I have no idea who, though

If it's not in your "Downloads" list...what happens when you search for the app and just go to install it?
