How to keep screen on while charging wirelessly?

I recently bought a wireless charger and noticed the screen goes off while charging but if it is connect via a cable it stays on. Is there a setting I need to select to keep it on while charging wirelessly?

If you go into Developer Options, there's a setting for Stay Awake. Turn that on.

"keep screen on while charging" setting in developer options ...it doesn't work with wireless charging. maybe they will fix it sometime. or perhaps its deliberate...people charging their phone overnight probably don't want the screen on. otherwise use an app like "keep screen on" but you have to toggle it manually. ideally we would have a setting in google maps app for example, to keep the screen on while using maps

Apparently, charging wirelessly is slow so it wouldn't charge at all if the screen is on all the time.

It will heat up the up the phone and slow down charging.
