how to make android sleep while playing media in chrome?

So I want to listen something that is streaming from some website (which doesn't give download alternative) in Chrome but I also want android to go to sleep mode because I don't want to waste battery, so how do I do it? Maybe some other web browser? Or is there a feature in Android settings to go to sleep mode no matter if the video is playing?

Android is the operating system and, like us, can't sleep if it's busy doing something active. While you're actively using Chrome to play media, Android is hard at work receiving the data and displaying the data (and sound). So, if I understand your question correctly, there is no way to idle the operating system while it is actively in use.

webpage only plays audio, since it's only audio file, but android still doesn't go to sleep.

Are you talking about just shutting off the screen? Usually a short press of the power button does this?

As long as the device is streaming,it cannot. Because its very active
