How to make calls using wi-fi ?

I have a Huawei ALE-104 device. There is a setting in this phone somewhere that would allow me to make calls using wi-fi. However I cannot find it. Anyone familiar with this, and have step-by-step instructions? If I find the answer somewhere I will post it here.

Applications > wifi calling > menu > connection preferences > wifi only > ok

No, that's the same answer I've found previously. I have nothing called Applications. Also, I found a youtube video that shows how to do it by going to the Settings. Wi-Fi Calling should be listed underneath Tethering & portable hotspot and VPN but it is missing.

Is this a carrier-branded phone or an unlocked one? Wifi calling is generally a feature provided in the carrier version of various phones (assuming the carrier has it available) but not in the unlocked versions.

A P8 Lite? Can you confirm ALE-104 or ALE-L04? Because that might be a Chinese version, which definitely won't have WiFi calling, unless China Unicom supplied it. And if it's the generic unlocked dual-SIM international, it won't have carrier WiFi calling.
