Help How to make emojis display correctly in Chrome

Hey there. I recently downloaded a keyboard which is not only preloaded with many text based emojis, but also allows me to add more as I please. I would like to pull emojis from www.kawaiiface.net, but I'm experiencing some display issues. For example, the ◕ in (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ does not display at all on my phone. It's invisible as if it weren't there. Is there any way to make the Droid version of Chrome display content more like its desktop counterpart would? I can somewhat get around this by switching the system font to Samsung Sans. In Samsung Sans ◕ is displayed as a square outside of the browser so at least I know it is there, but other characters besides ◕ are also displayed as squares so that's only a little helpful. Any advice? Thanks!
